There are many death blows to eternal security found in Scripture. At the very core of this non-Christian doctrine is the concept that a person once saved (a righteous person) will not die spiritually over his sin. The clarity of the Scriptures to the contrary is overwhelming from Genesis through Revelation ...

There is not a more important subject to study than salvation. In fact, there is not even a close second among all the many topics that have been taught over the centuries. Though the term salvation can be used in different ways, here it refers to deliverance from damnation in the fires of hell. This is the only way this important term will be used in this teaching.

For a person to say that a professing Christian was never saved, if he turns away from God to sin, is fallacious in at least 7 different areas. If you are a Christian, carefully ponder the following so you can help others see the dangerous folly of such a declaration.

Back in the days of Moses a very surprising test from God occurred, which is similar to one of the spiritual tests we face in our day over eternal security.

For a Christian to believe any eternal security proponent is living holy is a contradiction to both the embraced doctrine cherished by that eternal security proponent and what the Bible declares about a sinner, a slave to sin, those not obeying God, which they identify themself as.

From the viewpoint of Calvinism and the eternal security proponent, imputed righteoussness simply stated is: a person once saved is holy and righteous without living holy and righteously.

Can the Christian now relax and do nothing as far as his salvation is concerned? If not, then what should he do? Is doing anything a violation of Biblical grace? What is being commonly taught on this and does that message line up with the Bible?

This is not an in-house debate.

The Bible is clear in speaking of the miraculous power of the real gospel. It has the ability to change a person into a new creation and set him free from sin’s addictions.

Clear proof that multitudes in our day have been religiously brainwashed and deceived is revealed by how people commonly understand the teaching known as the wheat and tares (KJV). Please know the tares (or weeds) do not look like wheat, according to Jesus’ teaching.

Can your words (which include your teachings) mortally affect your salvation?

Be assured that the eternal security teachers will deny that their doctrine is a license for immorality, but that doesn’t change reality. There are various ways we can know the truth about this doctrine which is so dearly embraced by the deceived multitudes. Here are a few concepts that should drive home this point about eternal security being a license for immorality.

As strange as this might sound to some, the god associated with the eternal security doctrine is not only non-existent, but is often the exact opposite of the God of the Bible.

Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Confessing Jesus as Lord and testifying to others about Him has always been very important—even vital (Rom. 10:9; Mt. 12:37; 10:33; etc), but for the last generation of Christians, it will be even more so, if that is possible.

Without a doubt, the relevant warning for Christians found in Eph. 5:5-7 should stir anyone seriously interested in inheriting the kingdom of God and avoiding the lake of fire.

In an article entitled, "Sexes Without Sex," Ray Comfort shares his comments on Gen. 2:17. In doing so he indirectly denies that Adam and Eve died spiritually by sinning.

It is amazing how many people are unable to see the truth of a Scriptural passage after they have accepted a faulty understanding of it.

Certainly one of the powerfully devastating passages to eternal security is the last two verses in the book of James.

There are many precious and vital truths for us to remember all through the Bible. One passage containing such has to be Hebrews 11:15,16.

The Neglected Possibility When Someone Backslides

The eternal security proponents don’t really believe in eternal security as they adamantly teach, but they have never come to realize this fact.

For those who sit under his teaching influence, this critical review may prove to be most beneficial.

Many people cite this passage to support their belief in once saved always saved. Does it teach eternal security?

The security-in-sin teachers are spiritually dangerous people. Besides all of the other grievous declarations they make, some have also gone so far as to say that a Christian’s future sins are already forgiven, even before they are committed.

Calvinism has always allowed for a Christian to be immoral under their warped concepts of grace and salvation.

Though it may seem exaggeratory, they are vastly more dangerous than quack medical doctors or even serial murderers.

How logical is it for such a person who calls himself a Calvinist to be less than a five point Calvinist in light of the theology of Calvinism?

Gal. 1:8,9 magnify the one and only gospel to the zenith of importance by stating that even if Paul, one of God’s angels or anyone else would preach a gospel that is different than the one Paul preached, then let that person be eternally condemned.

In Dave Hunt's book, What Love Is This?, he shockingly presents Jacob Arminius as someone who taught eternal security! This is a gross misrepresentation.

Calvinism is a total perversion of grace, how one gets saved, God’s sovereignty, etc. But specifically related to eternal security, the fifth point of Calvinism dangerously downplays the seriousness of sin in the life of a believer and its version of eternal security is the most deceitful and inconsistent of the two.
